Imagine the ocean at midnight.  The sky is dark, and the waters reflect the light of the moon.  This painting evokes that feeling of calm as you gaze across the waters at midnight. 

The top of the sky is a deep midnight blue with the water comprising various shades of blue, silver and with just a touch of white.  Coated with a soft satin varnish.
